A graduate of Emory University’s medical school, Dr. Sims completed his internship and residency at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond. He completed a three-year fellowship in the division of hematology and oncology at the same college, where he spent another year as an attending physician in oncology and hematology and then joined our practice in 1992.
